Ingredients
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- Some chopped pecans, optional
Instructions
- Blend two cups of pecans with two cups of whole milk and one tablespoon of vanilla extract.
- In a pot, add four cups of water and one cinnamon stick.
- Turn the heat to medium-high and let it simmer until the cinnamon releases its color and flavor.
- Add the pecan mixture and strain as you do so, along with one can of evaporated milk and one can of sweetened condensed milk.
- Mix everything well.
- Mix one cup of milk with three tablespoons of cornstarch, stirring well to avoid lumps.
- Add the chopped pecans and the cornstarch mixture to the pot.
- Stir, cover, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- After five minutes, it's ready.
