Bacon Jam Prime Rib Sliders
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Garlic, to taste
- 6 slices white American cheese
- 10 oz beef bacon
- 1 white onion
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup dark maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Pickles
- Optional: Any standard burger sauce
Instructions
- Season the prime rib steak sliders with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Cook the sliders in a smoker or oven at 275°F, or grill them directly.
- Slice the beef bacon into tiny strips and add to a cold pan.
- Turn the heat to medium-low to render the fat from the bacon.
- Add finely diced onion to the pan and cook down.
- Add black pepper and continue cooking until crispy edges form.
- Deglaze the pan with Worcestershire sauce and apple cider vinegar.
- Add dark maple syrup and allow to caramelize and thicken.
- Remove the patties from heat when they reach an internal temperature of 120°F.
- Grill the patties on high heat to caramelize, flipping them quickly.
- Top each slider with half a slice of white American cheese.
- Add pickles to each slider and crown with bacon jam.
