Steak and Parmesan Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh thyme
- Fresh rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves smashed
- 250g rigatoni pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 56g shallot minced or 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 big cloves garlic minced
- 200ml double cream
- 60g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp oregano
- Fresh parsley chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Season the ribeye or sirloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter in a pan.
- Add fresh thyme, rosemary, and smashed garlic cloves to the pan.
- Cook the steak to your desired doneness, then remove and let rest.
- In a pot, cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions.
- In the same pan, add 4 tbsp of butter, shallot or onion, and minced garlic.
- Sauté until fragrant, then add double cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, and oregano.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce.
- Slice the steak and serve over the pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
