Microwave Sticky Toffee Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp unsalted butter
• 3 tbsp dark brown sugar
• 3 tbsp heavy cream
• Salt
• 2 Medjool dates
• ¼ tsp baking soda
• ¼ cup all-purpose flour
• ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
• Sour cream, for serving
• vanilla ice cream, for serving
• whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

1. For the sauce, microwave one tablespoon of butter, two tablespoons of brown sugar, one tablespoon of cream, and a pinch of salt in 30-second intervals until mixed.
2. For the cake, mix two dates, butter, heavy cream, and baking soda until homogenous.
3. Add flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and more salt to the mixture and mix again.
4. Spread the mixture evenly and microwave for one minute.
