Swamp Dogs

Ingredients

• 8 hot dogs
• 2/3 cup Italian dressing
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
• 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
• 2/3 cup water
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
• 8 hot dog buns

Instructions

1. Score your hot dogs with shallow diagonal cuts.
2. Add the hot dogs to a plastic bag.
3. Chop the onions and add them to the bag.
4. Prepare the marinade with Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning, then add it to the bag.
5. Seal the bag and refrigerate for a day or two.
6. When ready to cook, heat a cast iron skillet or griddle.
7. Char the hot dogs in the skillet.
8. Add the onions to the skillet and let them smother until soft.
9. Add mustard and ketchup to the hot dogs and onions.
10. Serve the hot dogs with the saucy onions.
