Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 package cheddar and broccoli flavored contents
  • 1 potato, cleaned and peeled
  • diced ham

Instructions

  1. Get two cups of water over high heat.
  2. Pour the entire contents of the cheddar and broccoli flavored contents in a bowl and stir.
  3. Steal about two tablespoons of the flavored water once it comes up to temperature.
  4. Wash and peel the potato, then cut it into approximately the same size cubes as the ham.
  5. Soak the potato cubes in a bowl of water to release some starches, then strain and dry them on a paper towel.
  6. Heat the dried potatoes in a pan over medium heat, moving them around for about a minute.
  7. Add the two tablespoons of flavored water to the pan and scrape the bottom to release the potatoes.
  8. Once the water evaporates, add the ham straight from the bag into the pan and mix well.
  9. Cook the ham for about five minutes, then add about a quarter of a cup of water.
  10. Mix, deglaze, and stir aggressively to emulsify the mixture into a thick, glaze-like pan sauce.
